Dr. Gavin Deasy
Attained an honours degree in Biochemistry from University College Cork in 1996 and followed this with a Diploma in Computer Science in 1997. He then went on to study Dentistry and qualified as a Dental Surgeon in 2001. Dr Gavin then worked in a private practice in Kent for the following three years and while there, he attained a Diploma in Dental Homoeopathy. He returned to Ireland in 2004 to take up a position in a holistic practice in Kilkenny that specialised in composite restorations.
In 2011 Dr Gavin commenced his Orthodontic Studies and graduated with a masters with Merit in Orthodontics from the University of Warwick, UK. He practices Orthodontics in Tobin Dental Castlebar, Sligo and Devon UK
Dr Gavin is now accepting new patients to his visiting Orthodontics’ Clinic at Tobin Dental Ltd

Member of the faculty of dentistry of the Royal college of Surgeons. Diploma of Research Methodology and Biostatistics.
Member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Oral Health and Dental Management.
Awards: Employee Dentist of the year at Armed forces hospital (Saudi Arabia) 2013
Nominated as sensitive Dentist of the year 2017 (Irish Dental association) 2017
Started a master degree of oral surgery and implantology in Danube University Austria 2018
He has a special interest in Paediatric Dentistry.
